WORT radio is Super-Excited for our very first MUSICIANS for WORT show at Gamma Ray! We’ve got a stellar lineup of bands donating their talent & time in support of community radio-89.9FM. We’re honored!

To get things goin’ with stylish flair – at 8, and between bands – we’ve got one of the station’s new hosts – DJ Ciggy!

• Openers WILD VIOLETS have the groovy & funky vibe to get the fun started. With the talented Raquel Aleman at the helm, it’s surefire! < 8:45 ish >
• SMART COOKIE keep the party on point with their groove-based-drum-n-bass stylings. Expect some pop-dance sounds percolating! Led by the marvelous Michelle Flood – again, Surefire! < 10pm or so >
• HEAVY LOOKS – acclaimed local power pop heroes will commence to Rock Out – Fronted by Roz bringin’ it! More dance ferver (hOpE ya make it to PaRtY on the dance floor with us) < 11-around then >
