Spectaculous

Spectaculous

“Tempo” is the debut single from Madison-based Spectaculous, a genre-bending band formed by the three members of Mr. Chair (pianist Jason Kutz, bassist Ben Ferris and drummer Mike Koszewski), as well as poet, singer, hip-hop artist and University of Wisconsin–Madison First Wave alum Dequadray White.

Horace Greene

Horace Greene

Horace Greene is a Midwest indie-rock band known for their infectious sound and high-energy performances. After seven years of steady touring, the quartet reemerged with “Nighttime Boi” — a shimmering burst of pop-rock energy and the first preview of their 2026 full-length album. Their latest single “Cream” is a hypnotic, funk-laced voyage that cements their flair for bold, magnetic songwriting.

JEXIZIS

JEXIZIS

From poet to rapstar, @jexizis is the HOTTEST upcoming artist in the city and is at the center of the underground rap scene here in Madison. Jex’s brand “New Generation” collaborates with young artists for free with achievements such as an afterschool program with the Madison public library, selling out local shows, and creating space for young art to thrive.
Jex is also a part of a full tuition hip-hop and urban art scholarship at the University of Wisconsin. Some may know him as Justin Festge Russell during his term serving as Madison’s youth poet laureate.
Since then Jex has been featured in the Wisconsin State Journal, front page of the CapTimes, and the Isthmus. Jex’s name reach’s further than his hometown being co-signed by 90s R&B group Bone Thugs-N-Harmony, DDG, and Peso Peso. Justin’s goal is to make Madison a better place for young artists by any means necessary.

Bear In The Forest

Bear In The Forest

Hailing originally from New Orleans, LA, Bear currently resides in Madison, WI with his cat-son Osito (Spanish word for “little bear”). Inspired and driven by music from a young age, Bear was fortunate to be accepted into the First Wave scholarship program at UW Madison. The training he received there combined with inspiration from artists such as Bon Iver and Hozier are just a couple of his driving forces as he works to create music rooted in personal experience + the trials and tribulations of the world around him.
