LONELYPROOF: Made up of some of Madison’s finest and most seasoned musicians, Lonelyproof is a fiery new force on the local scene. Balancing 70’s hard rock bombast with 90’s hooks and a modern indie humility, the band is at once fierce and focused.

The supergroup started as a vehicle for guitarist/vocalist Kyle Rightley’s (Driveway Thriftdwellers, The Big Payback) harder-rocking original material. Veteran bassist Jeff Weiss (The Big Payback, No Name String Band) and powerhouse drummer Max Morkri (Wurk, Brahmulus) hold down a powerful rhythmic foundation for the group’s ambitious sonic explorations. Rounding out the lineup and providing a foil for Rightley’s vocals is guitarist/vocalist Lo Marie (Lo Marie, The Furious Bongos), whose soaring vocals and guitar interplay send the group into the stratosphere.

NESTER: Nester is a Madison based experimental indie pop band. Influenced by a wide variety of music, from Sylvan Esso to The Strokes, Nester creates an original, beautifully rocking repertoire. While transgressing musical boundaries, this band aims to please, traveling from serenity to explosiveness and leaves their audience sneakily inspired.

SEASAW: Projecting – the newest album from indie-rock duo Seasaw – was released on April 21, 2023. The album was recorded by the Madison, WI band in their apartments throughout 2020 and was mixed by former Madisonian Beau Sorenson (Thao, Death Cab for Cutie).

Writing, recording, and performing as a two-piece, Seasaw has moved through many iterations to arrive at their newest release. Starting out as a folk band obsessed with CocoRosie, they have now fully bloomed into the fuzzed out rock and roll stepchild of their former selves. Seasaw lives for metamorphosis and continues to get comfortable embracing the flux.
Proudly admitting that they both cry at least once a day, you would never get that from the exuberant and playful songs and videos released by the pair. It seems like embracing that catharsis might be the trick to being able to thoroughly feel and enjoy the fun in this life, which is exactly what they show us on Projecting.

Limited edition vinyl in green and orange variants can be purchased at singseasaw.com

RED PANTS: Red Pants are the noise rock duo Jason Lambeth (guitar, vocals) and Elsa Nekola (drums, vocals) from Madison, Wisconsin. They have been making music together since 2018 and over that time have released three full length albums and six EPs (including the soon to be released Pale Shadows EP).
For fans of 90’s Yo La Tengo or Sonic Youth, early Blonde Redhead, with brushes of Trish Keenan melodies.
