Show Description:
Linnea’s Garden plays glam punk rock you can dance to. Imagine the angular guitars of Television, primal bass lines of The Clash, danceworthy grooves of Blondie, and otherworldly songwriting and stage show of David Bowie, fronted by a queer singer/songwriter/scientist. Loud, shiny and full of distortion: they do it cuz they like to do it. They say the things people are afraid to say.

Adult Book Club is a high-energy alternative punk trio from Madison, Wisconsin, blending catchy choruses, intricate guitar riffs, and literature-inspired lyrics into a sound that is anthemic and literary. Their heavy and heady music uses classic novels like Dune, Catcher in the Rye, and Brave New World as a lens to reflect on modern life, society and identity.
Formed in 2022 at the Madison Music Foundry, the band—Charles Donovan (guitar/vocals), Greg Kernisan (bass/lyrics), and Luke Stanton (drums)—has been steadily growing a following through their dynamic live shows and growing library of songs. Catch Adult Book Club live and experience a show that’s as electrifying as the stories they bring to life.
Lauryl Sulfate and her Ladies of Leisure are an electropop duo from Milwaukee, WI. Known for their high energy performances and empowering lyrics, the LOL’s live shows deliver a dance party with a mission.
The band is a Milwaukee indie radio staple and have been a featured act at Summerfest, Milwaukee PrideFest and Riverwest FemFest.
The LOL’s first album, “Dance Music Saves Lives” was a glittery, hopeful love letter to the political possibilities of disco. Their newest album, The Afterparty, sparkles with the same knack for sticky retro hooks and irrepressible beats while offering up a more existential spin on the power of dance music. It is available for listening or download on all major streaming services, including Apple Music, Spotify, and Tidal.
