White Dune

White Dune is the electronic music project of Minneapolis-based drummer Dave Power. Known for his percussive roles in groups such as Solid Gold, bathtub cig, Nelson Devereaux Trio, & 58 Belvedere, his upcoming album “RARE EARTH” is a sonically rich tapestry of cinematic IDM tracks that showcase Power’s narrative abilities as a composer. The album’s influences include Boards of Canada, The Field, Andy Stott, and Aphex Twin, and it plays front to back like a brain-tingling amalgamation of the best sacred volumes in post-90s modern electronic music production. Co-producer Dex Wolfe lends thoughtful, crafty mixing and engineering wizardry across the project, and listeners should commit to be taken for a ride completely outside of all time and form with this one. Minneapolis record label Bumpy Records is additionally thrilled to be able to offer this album on a limited edition of viny!
