​​​Adult Book Club is an alternative punk trio from Madison, Wisconsin that writes songs about your favorite books. 

​Since forming in 2022, Adult Book Club has steadily built a following through their dynamic live shows and growing library of catchy songs. Blending the energy of pop punk with flourishes of metalcore, emo and classic rock, their sound has a strong emphasis on tight musicianship, guitar heroics and harmony-rich vocals. Lyrically, the band uses classic novels (think Dune, Catcher in the Rye, Brave New World) as a lens to reflect on modern life, personal identity and introspective emotion. ​

​Adult Book Club has released two EP’s (Chapter I and Chapter II), with a their full-length debut due in Summer 2026. The first single from the upcoming album, “Fifty Shades of Greg” was released on February 13, 2026. 

Mrs. Nezbitt

Two best friends who just want to make emotional music. Main influences include post-hardcore bands like Dance Gavin Dance blended with the emotionality of Midwest Emo (Hot Mulligan, Origami Angel, Heart to Gold, etc…) Michael, our guitarist, writes all the instrumentation, while Carter, lead vocals, puts together the lyrics and handles our promotion/management. Two polar opposites that have come together through the power of friendship to create glorious tunes.

After their initial meeting at the Denver skate park, the two have been curating their unique sound that fully blends their two styles.

Now a full fledged 5 piece, Mrs. Nezbitt is ready to blow away the crowd with killer guitar rifts and gritty vocals reminiscent of the 2010s.

They’ve built a steady following in Denver over the past few years and are looking to spread some good times anywhere and everywhere!
