Rockstar & Elise
Rockstar & Elise is the musical project of Emily AF, a mysterious Madison, Wisconsin–based engineer and nostalgia pop artist. Drawing from a lifetime of eclectic influences — 80s pop, rock, and bluegrass, late 80s / early 90s industrial and alt-rock, and the hook-laden pop punk and shimmer pop of the 2000s — Emily creates music that blurs eras and genres. Her songs evoke a sense of belonging and memory, inviting listeners into a sound that feels timeless and familiar.
When she’s not writing or performing as Rockstar & Elise, Emily works as a live sound engineer and producer.
